“The National Enquirer” claims we have another adulterous American politician: the brand new USA President, Barack Obama. According to the tabloid, Obama would have betrayed his wife Michelle with a collaborator during the election campaign, in 2004. This first, juicy gossip comes out in these days, two years after the elections, but rumors say that everybody at the White House already knew about it. According to some anonymous sources, Michelle Obama was already complaining, six years ago, about the supposed too close friendship between his charming husband and Vera Baker, his "Finance Director" for the ’04 Senate campaign. But then the young woman had suddenly been transferred to work at the Caribbean, on the island of Martinique, away from the brown, deep and, as they say, heart-sized eyes of the USA President. But this wouldn’t be the first time that a politician is stricken by a sexual scandal: let's just go back to the days before Bill Clinton was elected president. Does anybody remember the 60 Minute piece that saved his election chances? Everybody knew his marriage wasn't perfect, and all suspected Billy had been a bad boy; however, 60 Minutes magically made the Clinton marriage look good enough to Americans that Clinton's managed to get over the hump. Of course later on, we all would discover Clinton had been a very naughty president with the young and attractive Monica Lewinsky, but this is another story. Today, as in Clinton’s days, there have already been rumors of Obama's sexual habits and we all have seen the pictures of Obama early in his presidency getting caught staring at a butt of an attractive woman, one who turned out to be only 16 years, but let’s face the facts: who would care about the adultery of a black, handsome American man if he wouldn’t be the USA President? And how his sexual behavior had influenced his presidency? No answers? Then, I think that an old, little and, above all, already over flirt like this shouldn’t be sold us as an unforgivable sin, at least unless it doesn’t involve its way of leading the Country.
